Understand What’s Next

SUBMIT

Once your offer is submitted, the Seller will either accept, counter or decline. If declined, the Seller may think your offer isn’t close enough to their expectations to further negotiate. If the Seller is agreeable to some, but not all terms of your offer, they may counter with alternate terms.

COUNTER

A counter-offer is when the Seller responds to an offer by proposing different terms. If this happens, you can:

  • Accept the counter-offer
  • Decline the counter-offer

NEGOTIATE

Negotiations can go back and forth as many times as needed until you and the Seller reach an agreement or someone chooses to walk away.

ACCEPTED

Once all parties agree on terms and sign the offer, you are officially under contract. This is when your Agent’s value truly shines. Congrats!
