Addison

Approximately 20 miles north of downtown Dallas lies the town of Addison. Home to many popular events such as the North Texas Jazz Fest, Oktoberfest and Taste Addison, this suburb is an excellent place many young professionals settle down and live. Addison offers residents easy access to major highways within the city as well as the nation’s third-largest general aviation airport, Addison Airport. This town is also famous for being the home to one of the largest 4th of July fireworks shows in the United States. Another asset the residents enjoy in Addison is their remarkable shopping at the Galleria Dallas and Village on the Parkway. The town is often known as “the Restaurant Capital of Texas” as it has more than 170 restaurants.
